Happy students

Every now and then, something unexpected happens in your daily routine, something funny that adds a sort of color and happiness when you are completely off-guard in the middle of the work.

Yesterday, two students entered dancing to the classroom, laughing and shaking a middle-size speaker that spread the music. They looked like two little girls, even though they are teens.

I have never seen that scene during my 35-years career as a teacher and, I must say, I was gratefully impressed, because it was a vision about how life is supposed to be for young people, far away from any adult-life bitterness and concerns.
